OUR MEETINGS

ABOUT OUR MEETINGS

The Christians at Nipissing Junction come together according to the pattern set out in the New Testament.
The purpose for these gatherings includes time for prayer, Bible study, teaching and to remember the sacrifical death of the Lord Jesus Christ each Sunday.  As a visitor, you are welcome to come and observe these meetings. No collection will be taken.

THE LORD'S SUPPER

SUNDAYS 9:30AM - 10:30AM

Instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ before giving His life on the cross, we follow His command to remember Him in the partaking of bread and wine.
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes” 1 Corinthians 11:26.

We worship together through prayer and song as we meditate on the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour

SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAYS 11AM - 11:45AM

Sunday School is a time for children and teens (kindergarden to high school) to learn about the Bible. Through Bible stories , singing songs and activities, students gain an understanding and appreciation of who God is and His love for them.

Luke 18:16 (ESV) But Jesus called to him saying “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”

BIBLE STUDY/MINISTRY

SUNDAYS 11:15AM - 11:45AM

Teaching is given through conversational Bible study and ministry messages. Responsibility is shared by the brethren in the fellowship.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”  2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV).

GOSPEL MEETING

SUNDAYS 6:30PM - 7:15PM

This meeting is dedicated to proclaiming the gospel or “good news” message that Christ died for our sins, He was buried and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

If you don’t personally know the Lord as your Saviour, we highly recommend that you come out to hear the gospel message.

PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY

WEDNESDAYS 7PM - 8PM

Mid-week we gather for prayer and to study the Bible.
Prayer is the expression of our dependance upon God for the needs of our congregation, community, country and all citizens of earth. Through the study of God’s Word, we grow in our understanding and appreciation in His Person, purposes, and the plans for His creation.

We invite you to all of the meetings!
